Security

The servers in the cloud are more powerful than other Hosting plans. Each Cloud Server has its own upstream Firewall. All network components and servers can only be called up over their own individual IP addresses instead of directly via the Internet. That's why private cloud infrastructures are guaranteed to be secure against attacks and unauthorized access.

High Availability

In the NOVATREND Cloud several powerful servers are connected together. More can be added immediately to provide additional resources. The cloud is highly available, because all physical servers are mirrored twice. If one server fails, another takes over its functions.

Because of this, we guarantee an uptime in excess of 99.9% - your website is practically always available. Availability in the Webcluster is even higher because the web servers are distributed across different physical servers. Should a web server fail, the load balancer routes visitors to other web servers.

Easy to operate

Within the NOVATREND Cloud you select standardised applications and put them together via drag and drop. In this way you configure your entire infrastructure, which is then created on the server grid. In the NOVATREND Cloud you can run such applications as LAMP stacks, databases, Tomcat Servers or Windows 2008 Server and much more.

Scalable

All infrastructures in the cloud can be expanded without restrictions and without having to alter any customer applications. The customer can change or assign all resources (CPU, RAM) themselves at any time and for every server. The client will only be charged for what is actually used.

The Webcluster for exemple has five servers (two active, three on stand-by) available. Should the number of visitors increase, the customer adds an additional server or configures the application so that it automatically activates an additional server when a specified value is reached, (for example, 30 percent CPU utilisation).

Inexpensive

Often a dedicated server is chosen for specific projects because they can be flexibly configured. But their full power is neither required nor fully utilised.

A virtual dedicated server in the NOVATREND Cloud offers as much flexibility and security, but is considerably cheaper because only the resources actually used are charged for. The system monitors and logs all changes and provides an invoice at the end of month with a detailed overview of all services and usage.
