Data Center

Our servers are located in the InterXion Data Centre in Glattbrugg near Zurich. This facility is one of the safest ever and guarantee us an excellent infrastructure on the cutting edge of technology for the safe operation of our The InterXion Data Centre meets IT security outsourcing regulations (99/2) of the Swiss Federal Banking Commission. In addition, it has been certified with the SunTone Certified Membership (www.suntone.org). The customers of InterXion includes Swiss banks who have also relocated parts of their infrastructure here. The data centre (and therefore also your and our data) is protected by a multilevel security system:

• All NOVATREND employees who have 24 hours access to the data centre, need to identify themselves with a badge and biometric data (fingerprint). The environment of the data centre is also under permanent video surveillance. With advance notice NOVATREND may also grant access to the data centre to third parties (e.g. external technicians), when required.

• The data center is connected to two different power circuits and has a diesel generator, which can guarantee provision of the entire electricity needs for 30 days. Together with the central UPS system a power uptime is guaranteed to 99.999 percent.

• In the InterXion Data Centre a giant air conditioner plant provides the optimum operating temperature and humidity for our servers. All the rooms of the data centre are also hermetically sealed and include a sensitive fire alarm system. The extinguishing medium is INERGEN gas, which consists of natural components of air and is therefore harmless to both humans and the technology.
